A ready to use, black core coloured MDF panel with a transparant silk gloss lacquer finish.
High-density MDF board, coloured black in the mass, with a transparent “santiny” lacquer finish on both sides. Thanks to the transparent lacquer, the small wood fibres remain visible on the panel’s surface, emphasizing the natural origin of the product. The lacquer coat consists of an inert, UV-hardened lacquer which does not contain any harmful substances. The coat is highly colorfast, scratch- & stain resistant and easy to clean. Each panel has a self-adhesive protective film on both sides. The board is ready to use without edging tape, or with the perfectly matching ABS edging tape. This product is made from 100% recovered wood. -

High quality MDF board for non-load-bearing applications in dry conditions.
MDF board with a hard, fine and smoothly sanded surface. MDF Fibrabel LF+ has low formaldehyde emission (E1 class) and meets the ChemVerbotsV requirements for Germany. Moreover, MDF Fibrabel LF+ meets the requirements set by the California Air Resource Board. According to ASTM E 1333-96, formaldehyde emission is less than 0,11 ppm, which corresponds to CARB, phase 2 as set by the ACTM. This MDF board also meets the requirements of EPA, as set by TSCA Title VI. -
High quality fire retardant and moisture resistant MDF board for use in humid conditions. This MDF-board is produced with a no added formaldehyde resin (NAF).
High-density MDF board with a hard, fine and smoothly sanded surface, characterised by extremely low formaldehyde emission. Fibralux MR FR NAF is approved (n° N-18-177) by the Air Resource Board (ARB) as a no-added formaldehyde resin (NAF) MDF board (section 93120.3 of the ATCM ‘Airborne Toxic Control Measure’). This implies that formaldehyde emission is less than 0,04 ppm (90% of tested material), with a maximum of 0.06 ppm for every single measurement. Fibralux MR FR NAF is hardly flammable (ASTM E84 Class A/Class 1 rating for thicknesses 9 - 30 mm and European fire reaction classification B), has a significantly delayed combustion and does not contribute to flame spread. For all available thicknesses (from 6 to 30 mm), Fibralux MR FR NAF is B-s1-d0 certified (EN 13501-1). Fibralux MR FR NAF also meets the criteria required for the MR50/grade 115 designation (ANSI A208.2-2016). It passes the 24-hour submersion test (MR10) and the 6 cycle accelerated aging test (MR30). -

Pioneer of the circular economy
UNILIN has been a pioneer of the circular economy since the 160s. The Union des Lins at the time used shives — a residual product from the flax industry — as the basic base material for panels. To keep up with the growth over the years, UNILIN kept on searching for new, sustainable raw materials. Soon, residual material from the wood industry became the new basic base material.
