MDF
Due to their homogeneous structure, MDF (medium-density fiberboard) panels are easy to work with and versatile in application. They are paintable and can be covered with various surfaces. For example, they are very often used by carpenters and joiners, especially for interior finishing.

Features
MDF panels from Broszeit are available both as a standard version and in flame-retardant, moisture-resistant and low-formaldehyde or formaldehyde-free variants.
Areas of application
Interior design / interior finishing, furniture production, substrate for HPL or veneer

The finish consists of an inert, UV-cured varnish that does not have any contains harmful substances. Each panel has a self-adhesive protective film on both sides. The panels have a core that can be screwed together particularly well. High humidity will cause minimal stretching and swelling of the board. This board has low formaldehyde emission (E1 class, ChemVerbotsV compliant) Zudem erfüllt Fibralux MR Black Satin die the requirements of the California Air Resource Board (Emissions Control Agency of California). According to ASTM E 1333-96, the formaldehyde emission is lower as 0.11 ppm, which corresponds to CARB, Phase 2 of the ACTM. This MDF board also meets the requirements set by the California Air Resources Board (CARB - phase 2) and EPA (TSCA - Title VI). -
MDF board with a black colored core and a super matt coating on both sides, which creates a decorative and uniquely soft feel with an anti-fingerprint effect
Highly compressed MDF board, black down to the core, with a transparent, super matt Coating on both sides. The coating is characterized by an anti-fingerprint effect and a pleasant feel. Nevertheless, the fine wood fibers remain visible on the surface of the panel, which emphasizes the natural origin of the product. Such a coating consists of a lacquer which is UV-cured under inert conditions and which does not contain any harmful substances. Each plate has a self-adhesive protective film on both sides. -
MDF board with a grey colored core and a super matt coating on both sides, which creates a decorative and uniquely soft feel with an anti ‑ fingerprint effect
Highly compressed MDF board that is grey to the core with a transparent, super matt Coating on both sides. With high humidity there is minimal stretching and swelling of the panel. At the same time, it has a particularly easy screwable core. Moisture-resistant, fire retardant and non-structural MDF board with no added formaldehyde for industrial processing and interior applications The MDF board is manufactured without added formaldehyde resin.
A high density MDF board with a hard, fine and smoothly sanded surface. characterised by extremely low formaldehyde emissions (no added formaldehyde-based resins) The Air Resource Board (ARB) has confirmed (n N-18-177) that Fibralux MR FR NAF is an MDF panel without added formaldehyde resin (Section 93120.3 of the ATCM "Airborne Toxic Control Measure”). This means that the formaldehyde emission is below 0.04 ppm (90% of the tested material) with a maximum of 0.06 ppm for each individual measurement. Furthermore, it is exempt from testing and certification for compliance with the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Fibralux MR FR NAF is hardly flammable (ASTM E84 Class A/ Class 1 rating for thicknesses 9 - 30 mm and European fire reaction classification B), has a significantly delayed combustion and does not contribute to flame spread. For all available thicknesses (from 6 to 30 mm), Fibralux MR FR NAF is B-s1-d0 certified (EN 13501-1). -
Moisture-resistant MDF board for use in a damp environment, also suitable for construction purposes.

Agency partner UNilin
Pioneer of the circular economy
UNILIN has been a pioneer of the circular economy since the 160s. The Union des Lins at the time used shives — a residual product from the flax industry — as the basic base material for panels. To keep up with the growth over the years, UNILIN kept on searching for new, sustainable raw materials. Soon, residual material from the wood industry became the new basic base material.
