On-site development aid through
sustainable wood plantations

With our Albasia plywood reforestation board, we support the “1 Million Trees” program and thus a joint project between Fairventures Worldwide and the Borneo Institute in Central Kalimantan (Borneo / Indonesia). In practice this means: For every cubic meter of Albasia plywood sold, Broszeit provides six Sengon seedlings. In this way, the wood consumption is balanced again and plantations with sustainable cultivation are created.

NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR SMALL FARMERS THROUGH PLANTING SENGON

The annual biomass growth of Sengon trees is exceptionally high, which allows these plants to store a large amount of CO2. Sengon can also be grown outside of the forest, for example on agricultural land or wasteland. This opens up optimal opportunities for smallholders to rebuild and cultivate deforested areas.

With this product the Broszeit Group contributes to an ecologically balanced management of the Indonesian forests.

A LIVABLE FUTURE FOR ALL OF US WILL ONLY BE IF WE WORK WITH NATURE — AND NOT AGAINST IT.
