characterised by extremely low formaldehyde emissions (no added formaldehyde-based resins) The Air Resource
Board (ARB) has confirmed (n N-18-177) that Fibralux MR FR NAF is an MDF panel
without added formaldehyde resin (Section 93120.3 of the ATCM "Airborne Toxic
Control Measure”).
This means that the formaldehyde emission is below 0.04 ppm (90% of the tested
material) with a maximum of 0.06 ppm for each individual measurement. Furthermore,
it is exempt from testing and certification for compliance with the Toxic Substances Control
Act (TSCA). Fibralux MR FR NAF is hardly flammable (ASTM E84 Class A/
Class 1 rating for thicknesses 9 - 30 mm and European fire reaction classification
B), has a significantly delayed combustion and does not contribute to
flame spread. For all available thicknesses (from 6 to 30 mm), Fibralux MR FR NAF is B-s1-d0 certified
(EN 13501-1).
