MDF Pure E1/2 – low-formaldehyde
MDF V20 Pure low-formaldehyde E1/2
approx. 720 kg/m3 bulk density
Area of application
Medium-density fibreboard with a formaldehyde emission similar to that of natural wood, for use under dry conditions and in all categories of load duration.
MDF with high density with a hard, finely sanded surface and a strong, screw-mountable core that is distinguished by extremely low formaldehyde emission. Suitable for interior decoration types that take the use of ecological products into consideration. MDF Pure is made of 100 % coniferous wood and do not have any coarse fibres on the surface. It can be finished with paper, melamine, veneer, composite lay-ups or varnish. The boards are excellent to mill and have the same technical features as MDF S-Lux.
Using the product
The boards must be used only according to use class 1 (restrictions for ambient temperature and humidity) and hazard class 1, EN 335-3. The boards must have no direct contact with water. Any stacking must be done quickly on a pallet or with a sufficient number of crossbeams. Boards must not be stored upright unless floor contact can be ruled out. Under fluctuating humidity conditions, the boards either expand or shrink. Use suitable tools for sawing, milling and drilling.
Dimensions and stock program
Thickness: 9 to 30 mm standard – other thicknesses available upon request. Max. width and length: 244–255 to 635 cm. Spanolux has high capacity saws and can provide all dimensions. The pressing capacities generally enable delivery of all thicknesses, lengths and widths.
